Hamlin Lake is one of Michigan's premier recreational lakes. The lake is the largest man-made lake in Michigan and is over 5,000 acres with 16 miles of forested and sandy shoreline. Hamlin Lake feeds into nearby Lake Michigan and is bordered by both a state park and national forest. The Hamlin Lake dam located just inside Ludington State Park marks a unique historical spot and popular beach. The lake offers fantastic fishing, ideal sailing conditions, great beaches for swimming and multiple canoe and hiking trails. K's is located on a sheltered but easily accessible bayou that feeds into Hamlin Lake.
The grounds offer a sandy beach and large playground area for the toddlers and plenty of room for a campfire or a volleyball, croquet or badminton game. Fish from the front of your cottage or enjoy a paddleboat boat ride on the bayou. We have plenty of parking for cars, boat trailers and sheltered or open boat dockage for boats up to 20 feet. Please check out "Area Attractions" for other activities to enjoy while in the Ludington area. How about a day cruise on Lake Michigan, bargain hunting at local antique stores, canoeing down the Pere Marquette River, enjoying a coastline drive, walking the Lake Michigan coastline to the light house or trying your luck at the casino table? |
